- DDGS is the co-product that is made during the ethanol
production process. DDGS is a highly nutritional feed additive which contains
beneficial levels of proteins, minerals, and vitamins which is highly useful for
both ruminant and non-ruminant species.
- DDGS are a relatively inexpensive supplemental feed which
can be received on a consistent basis.
- DDGS have a stable shelf life which in turn allows for
longer storage.
- First United Ethanol produces around 330,000 tons of
dried distillers grains (DDGS) annually.
